Edmonton Fire Rescue- All Terrain Pumps (ATP)

Edmonton added All Terrain Pumps to their roster in 1990 with 2 units, followed by 2 more in 1997. These units were intended to help fight fires in areas not as easily accessible to regular apparatus, such as within Edmonton's network of ravines and the river valley. In their later years however, due to changing regulations which meant only 2 firefighters could ride in the aerial trucks, when one of the 616-619 were assigned, an ATP would be assigned as well for the other 2 firefighters to travel in.
