ST. ALBERT TRANSIT
2006 New Flyer D40LF #s 862-864
For the sake of replacing the last three remaining GM New Look buses (#s 831-833), St. Albert Transit took delivery of three New Flyer D40LF buses in 2006. These were the first full-sized St. Albert buses (aside from the
ex-demonstrator #843) delivered with electronic destination signs. They also featured updated interior styling. These buses are equipped with Cummins ISL engines and Allison B400R5 transmissions. As of mid 2014, all three of these
buses are in active service.
