St. Albert Transit took delivery of a second pair of Thomas SLF-230 model buses, #s 860-861, in late 2004. These were most likely 2005 model year buses, built in 2004. On their website, St. Albert Transit originally listed the buses as model 232, however this was later proven to be incorrect as the 232 was the CNG model (where St. Albert's were clearly diesel powered). For the few years that they lasted in service, these buses could be found throughout St. Albert, occasionally making it into Edmonton on the route 205 (West Edmonton Mall). Due to numerous issues with the buses, both were retired by 2011.
