As with any piece of equipment, it all has to be retired at some point. To recover costs from assets such as buses, Edmonton Transit, through Mobile Equipment Services (MES), will typically hold a public auction to auction off buses. Some auctions that Edmonton Transit & Mobile Equipment Services has held over the years will be compiled in here. Not all auction listings will be complete, but we hope to have a fairly complete list put together of the buses that have been sold over the years. One of the main bidders in these auctions was a auto salvage place in Edmonton called "A1 Auto Salvage" where this fellow buys these buses and then turns around and sells them out of his auto salvage place.
