Stock Transportation

Stock Transportation is a school bus operator in the Edmonton area. Based out of Ontario, they expanded operations to Edmonton during the Summer of 2011. The fleet that went into service that Fall consisted entirely of Thomas Minotour cutaways on Chevrolet Express 4500 gasoline chassis. Sometime in 2013, Stock acquired local operator R.L. Smith Bus Lines, effectively merging the two fleets of small school buses. Most of the former R.L. Smith units were renumbered and rebadged for Stock over the Summer of 2013. Since then, some units have also been transferred in from Ontario divisions. The fleet is still predominantly small cutaways, however a few full sized (72 passenger) buses have turned up recently. On this page, buses are listed by their Stock fleet numbers with former R.L. Smith fleet numbers listed alongside them where applicable. Buses without new Stock fleet numbers (at the time that the photo was taken) are listed at the top of the page by their former R.L. Smith fleet numbers.
