All 3 were purchased by CPR from the Nebkota Railway in 1998. #1400 is ex Nebkota #55, exx VIA #6550, exxx VIA 1400, exxxx CP 1400, nee CP 4099. #1401 is ex Nebkota #54, exx VIA #6541, nee CN 6541. #1900 is Nebkota #66, exx VIA #6612, nee CN 6612. #1400 was originally a FP7A, upgraded to FP9 standards and renumbered from 4099 to 1400.
