Sacramento 1986-1988 UTDC LRV #301-321
These cars are ex VTA (San Jose) cars, purchased in 2003 when a fleet of low floors cars were put into service with the VTA. VTA numbers were 801-821 and while the cars still carry these numbers, 814 was partially painted on 1 end and received 314. In 2012 Siemens was awarded a contract to overhaul the cars and with an extension opening in September hopefully these cars will return to service at that time. On my brief visit to Sacramento I saw 1 car repainted and another car undergoing work.
