RED DEER TRANSIT
1994
New Flyer D40LF #337-338
Red Deer Transit's first order of New Flyer D40LF buses was
for 2 units, numbered 337-338. Both were refitted with Bailos destination signs. These buses are powered by the Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engine and
were originally powered by the ZF 4HP500 transmissions, but were later
retrofitted with the Allison World B400R5 transmissions by the late
1990's. These two buses were a tag-on order to Edmonton Transit's 1994
D40LF's #243-258. Both were retired by 2012.
