SMALL ALBERTA TRANSIT OPERATIONS

This page will be for some of the very small transit operations that exist around Alberta. This will include some of the operations that are para-transit / seniors only.

Public Transit- Fixed Route or On Demand
Diamond Bus Lines- Provided local service Jasper Place and West Jasper Place as well as commuter service to Edmonton from Jasper Place, Sherwood Park. ETS took over service in Jasper Place and extended the trolley coach wire when Jasper Place amalgamated with Edmonton in XXXXXXX. The majority of their fleet was purchased second hand, including a fleet of ex Winnipeg Transit Twin Coach 34-S and 38-S coaches. Some Sherwood Park services continued after 1964 until 1969 when Diamond Bus Lines ceased operation. The ex PSL coaches might have become #39 and 40 and used in Sherwood Park service.
	16, 28 and more	Twin Coach/ CCF Brill/ MCI	March 1965	Part of the DBL fleet at garage. Note #28 signed for Sherwood Park. There are a pair of ex Pacific Stage Line CCF/Brill IC-41 coaches, #16 a MCI Courier 96 bus signed for Banff, and what is likely Fitzjohn 21 or 22 in behind everything else.
