STRATHCONA COUNTY TRANSIT
Thomas Chartour/ Citiliner #905-908, 915

Strathcona County Transit had a brief period when their fleet purchases were based largely around these Thomas buses which were  intended to be a cheaper version of highway coaches. 905 was purchased used 1998, and followed up with 906 and 907 in 1999. 908 arrived next and is a 35' version. In the meantime 5 used GM New Looks were added to the fleet in 2000 and in 2001 D60LFs 952-955 arrived. After that however Strathcona returned for a single 30' bus, #915. With the addition of highway coaches and the first LFS', these buses would quickly become surplus by the late 2000s.
The 35' and 40' versions Strathcona has are Chartour's, while 32' 915 is a CL-960 Citiliner. The main difference between the Citiliner and the Chartour is the inclusion of the rear door on the Citiliner's.
