Finally, this link will explain the numbering scheme used on the vehicle fleet.

Bus Service
Support
This page will cover all of what we have managed to document for the vehicle
fleet that is used to support ETS's bus operations.
Like the LRT section, this section is broken down into a number of different
categories based upon the role of the vehicle that fulfills within Transit.
Fleet Services- The City of Edmonton Fleet Services department
maintains the bus fleet. To support that they have a range of vehicles with the
tow trucks being the most obvious, but it also includes service trucks based at
each garage. Fleet services staffed the former "Westwood Van" providing on road
assistance to buses, and I would imagine there is now an "Andrews Van" out of
the Kathleen Andrews Transit Garage.
Inspectors/ Supervisors- Vehicles used by inspectors/
supervisors on the road, based out of each garage. This section includes DATS
supervisors.
Facilities Maintenance- Bus and LRT Facility Maintenance falls under
LRT Operations and Maintenance within the within the ETS Branch. Generally
speaking there are separate vehicles fleets for bus and LRT facility
maintenance, but they do overlap. Bus equipment is based out of the ETS Davies
Shop within the City of Edmonton's Davies Integrated Services Complex. They are
responsible for building and maintaining bus stops and shelters and other
maintenance at transit centers and other facilities. They previously
performed snow removal at Transit Centres, although this has since been
contracted out. They do still provide snow removal to LRT platforms. Their fleet
consists of a variety of vans and trucks, as well as some larger equipment like
dump trucks and a front end loader. We have one or two photos of vehicles in the
"Flying E" livery lettered for "Plant" and are assumed to have performed
the same duties as Facility Maintenance does today.
Service Support- This basically includes everything else. ETS has an
assortment of cars, vans and trucks for use as needed by personal. This includes
special event service, training, and former supervisors vehicles that are kept
around, but are usually found lacking their light bars from their front line
days.
Security and Peace Officers- This will mostly be Peace Officers, but this will
include anything we have from before the Peace Officers program

associated years.
