Bus Stops
1976-1997 Signage
One of the last 1976-1997 style bus stop limit signs left in the city is at the Meadowlark terminal (as are 2-3 more) these are the last that are left in the city that I have seen (as of 12/11/2003). September 30, 2003
1997-2020 Signage

Special route 100 sign at 101 St and 102 Ave southbound (north side). These were added to all bus stop signs that the route 100 stops at in late summer 2003, pretty much for when the articulated buses started providing some service on this route.  September 14, 2003
Bus stop near Meadowlark with a rather skinny concrete pad. September 30, 2003
5255/ ETS This bus stop includes the details the phone number for the on demand shuttle to cover portions of 102 Ave that lost bus service while the bridge over Groat Road was being rebuilt. August 15, 2013
1123/ BUS 1123 behind City Hall on 103A Ave with the temporary 543 Ookspress to NAIT that was in operation due to the late NLRT extension opening, as well as a sign for the City Hall School which used ETS buses for school groups. The 197 is the Spruce Grove service that was later renumbered to 597. This bus stop would be the location for the ceremonial first new bus stop sign installation in October 2020 as ETS moved towards rolling out the network redesign. September 2, 2015
1828/ BUS Another example of a bus stop with the phone number for the on demand shuttle covering areas without service due to the construction of a new bridge over Groat Road on 102 Ave. February 26, 2016
1821/ BUS 118 Ave/ 122 St  WB. The sign explains itself quite well! This is an example of the ETS when ETS would use for temporary re-routes or services. At the same time, it wasn't consistent. In the images of 5255 and 1828 above, there was nothing in red, although some of the routes on the signs were on detour, and the on demand bus was temporary.
2002/ TC 2002 at University Transit Centre Lane B. While there are less routes through University now, with the closure of Lane A for University construction activities, all routes are consolidated into Lane B, hence, listings for both directions for routes. This was prior to the 128 and 130 returning to service University Transit Centre. October 21, 2020
1542/ ETS 1542 at 100 St and Jasper Ave SB. Figured I'd shoot this one before it was replaced as it's a stop I frequently use. It also shows a lot of the changes of the past few years, with reductions and removals of Mill Woods express extensions (64, 65, 66, 69) the 60, 62, and 63 only have NB service so shouldn't be on here. The 57 was really just a short turn 7 and was combined with the 7. The 83 was cutback to Boonie Doon, and the 86 cancelled. The gap between 112 and 401 is one that has existed after some Strathcona changes. At it's peak there were 25 bus routes that stopped here, now it's 14. October 21, 2020
/ETS Temporary route 80 sign post due to TransEd LRT construction in the Wagner area. October 23, 2020
3371/ ETS Mill Woods Road/ 34 Ave SB. Another example of changes in recent years to express routes, gone are the 64, 65, and 73. The evolution of the 67 is also here, with a blank where the 67, and the addition of the 81, along with the 71 which replaced the 67 for before the 81, and still covers a portion of the original 67. October 25, 2020
1292/ BUS Located at 100 St/ 102 Ave SB (outside of Edmonton Centre East), this stop has some similar history to 1542 above, although, the Mill Woods route extensions are correct with only the 61 and 68 remaining. This stop, however, has additional routes from the rerouting of the 2, 5, 14, 161, and 162 due to Jasper Ave work. Note the "LRT Rep." October 26, 2020
1824/ BUS Located at 104 Ave/ 108 St EB. October 26, 2020
1989/ BUS Located outside of Grant McEwan on 104 Ave/ 108 St. This stop includes a sign with just the regional routes for St. Albert and Spruce Grove. The 204 was a route that was re-routed to Downtown Edmonton rather from the University for the duration of the Groat Road Bridge rehab. October 26, 2020
5112/ ETS/ TC This is an interesting combination. Transit Centre style, but, it still has the Bus Stop text and bus icon. This is at Jasper Place Transit Centre on Stony Plain Road EB. I guess ETS was out of blank stickers when they decided to remove the 3 from this stop and resorted to duct tape. October 26, 2020
8632/ ETS 172 St/ 103 Ave SB. This stop still retains a long since cancelled Dial A Bus number. October 27, 2020
2708/ TC Bay N at South Campus Transit Centre. This was where the 562 Spruce Grove stopped before it was cut back to West Edmonton Mall, before eventually being cancelled. October 30, 2020
