With word that CCF would start building the Brill design of trolleybus in Canada, ETS purchased two American Car and Foundry/ Brill TC-44 trolleybuses to see what they could expect from the Canadian version, and because they needed two more trolleybuses ASAP. The buses arrived in November 1945, which was actually after the orders for CCF/Brill T-44's had been placed. They lasted in service until April 1966 when used CCF/ Brill T-44's purchased from Regina arrived. They were scrapped later that year. These buses were powered by a General Electric 1213D7 140 HP motor.
