EDMONTON TRANSIT SYSTEM
1972 T6H-5307N #536-569

1972 saw ETS's first T6H-5307N buses delivered, #536-569. These buses featured standee windows, and a first for ETS on a New Look, double stream folding exit doors. We're not sure exactly which units were delivered with water bumpers, but photo evidence so far includes #536-549. We are not sure if the water bumpers continued into the 550's or not. The water bumpers were short lived and replaced with standard steel bumpers. #552 was a prototype for the black Firestone bumpers in 1979. Most units were retired from around 1999-2002, however a handful stuck around until early 2008. They were: 536, 542, 559, 560, and 562. #s 536, 559, and 560 were the only units rebuilt into the blue and silver ETS scheme.
