Buses #511-535 were ETS's last order of TDH-5303 buses from GM, as production shifted to the T6H-5305 in 1968, and then to the T6H5307N in 1972 when ETS next purchased 40' buses from GM. #511-535 were the last ETS GM's (purchased for use by ETS) to feature the single width rear exit door. ETS did operate T6H5307N's for Strathcona County Transit, and St. Albert Transit which did have the single rear exit door. These buses served ETS until the Fall of 1999 when ETS began retiring these buses rapidly. Previous to this, the only bus to be removed from this group was #524. By 2001 Ferrier Garage, and Westwood Garage had retired all their TDH-5303's (Ferrier retired most of theirs between September-November 1999. #515 wasn't retired though until around March 2000. Westwood retired their last 4 [511, 513, 514, and 519] in around November-December 2000). Mitchell Garage still had one 1967 TDH-5303, #531. This bus served a long life, 34 years, and wasn't retired until November 2001. 531 was a unique TDH-5303 in the ETS fleet. Apart from having its original marker lights changed (which a lot of TDH-5303 for ETS had done) this bus also had marker lights added near the centre of the bus, like any 1968 and newer bus. This bus also retained its original tailgate. 531 later left Edmonton Transit by 2003.
