The MAN's artic demo buses came to Edmonton in 1978 and ran there for 1 year. #103 was the longer of the two buses, being 18m long. This bus was powered by a MAN 6 cylinder 220 HP diesel engine mounted horizontally underneath the floor, and a 3 speed automatic transmission. This bus was the equivalent of the SG 192 in Germany, often in interurban use.
