Edmonton's first motor bus was a 1932 Leyland LKP3 "Cub" delivered to the Edmonton Street Railway from Britain in January of 1932. the body for the bus was built by Canadian Car Foundry (CCF). Powered by a Leyland 6 cylinder 68 HP gas engine, the bus was re-engined in 1936 with a Leyland 70 HP engine. This bus was retired in 1944 and disposed of that year.
