EDMONTON TRANSIT SYSTEM
1997 Overland ELF 125 / Ford E-450 diesel #s 59-64
ETS took delivery of another 6 ELFs in 1997. These were the first ELFs delivered in the then-new Blue + Silver ETS livery. They also featured updated front grilles (with the horizontal bar and oval shape) to coincide with changes by Ford for the 1997 model year. Otherwise, they were very similar to the 1995 order. All were originally equipped with rollsigns, but received Balios destination sign retrofits in the early 2000s. #60 was retired in 2008 due to a major collision, while the rest stuck around until the mass retirement of the ELFs in 2011.
