In 2004, Calgary Transit received 32 new New Flyer D40LF buses numbered 7859-7890.  This order was built identically to the 2003 order with the exception of having the Cummins ISL engine instead of the ISC engine, and some minor differences on the interior and exterior.  These buses are equipped with the Allison World B400R5 transmission.
