Calgary Transit 2015-18 Siemens S200 #2401-2463

Due to ongoing capacity issues, as well as the age and condition of the U2 fleet, the City of Calgary issued an RFP for 60 (later bumped up to 69) LRV's in 2012. Ultimately Calgary Transit decided on the next generation Siemens S200. The first four car train entered service in mid 2016, with the remainder of the cars to be delivered by the end of 2018. These cars feature a number of cosmetic and technological upgrades over the previous order of Siemens SD160's.
