STRATHCONA COUNTY TRANSIT
2010 Nova Bus LFS-40 HEV #3005-3010  

In 2010, Strathcona took delivery of a second order of LFS HEVs. Numbered 3005-3010, they share many features with the lone diesel, #2010, delivered the same year. Unlike the first order of hybrids, these units feature the T-Drive LFS configuration, and thus also include redesigned rear ends. They still, however, lack the 2/3 + 1/3 front door layout and security camera systems found on the later orders. They were also the last units to include the lateral seating and flip-down foot rests mounted over the front wheelwells. These buses are powered by Allison EP40 electric drives mated to Cummins ISL engines. Delivered in the custom green "hybrid" livery, the buses were repainted into the current green livery in 2012. As of 2020, all six of these buses continue in active service.
