STRATHCONA COUNTY TRANSIT
2010 Nova Bus LFS-40 #2010

In early 2010, SCT took delivery of a single LFS', which also (coincidentally) carried the fleet number 2010. Originally thought to be a 2009 model, the serial number confirms that this bus was one of the first off the production line in 2010. Possibly a prototype for future LFS orders by SCT, 2010 remains a unique bus in the fleet. It is the first T-Drive LFS for SCT, and thus features a redesigned rear end. Unlike the orders that followed it, however, 2010 lacks the 2/3 + 1/3 front door layout and security camera system. It also retained the lateral seating and flip-down foot rests mounted over the front wheelwells, a feature deleted from later orders. Powered by a Cummins ISL engine and Allison B400R transmission, 2010 was also the last SCT LFS to carry the EPA 2007 version of this engine. As of 2020, this bus continues in active service, and now features the current green livery.
