Strathcona County Transit's first 10 buses were 1977 T6H-5307N #859-868 built by GMDD of London, Ontario. Originally painted in the blue + yellow Edmonton Transit scheme (except for the logos), these buses were all repainted into newer SCT paint schemes. Some were also refitted with various types of Bailos LED destination signs in place of their original rollsigns. These buses were retired in the years leading up to 2011, upon the delivery of many Nova LFS models. The last unit in service was #859, as it was fitted with clearance poles for the sake of ensuring that the demo double decker Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 (#7000) could clear all of Edmonton's underpasses. While technically retired at this point, as of mid 2014 #859 remains on property in storage.
