ST. ALBERT TRANSIT
1999 New Flyer D40LF #s 853-857

St. Albert took delivery of five New Flyer D40LFs, #s 853-857, in 1999. Similar to the 1997 order, these buses also included rear-mounted Thermo King HVACs (hence the lack of a rear window) and rollsigns. With the exception of #855, all of these units were retrofitted with Luminator Horizon destination signs starting in 2011. #'s 855-857 were retired by mid-2018, however as of January 2020 #'s 853 and 854 continue in active service.
