ST. ALBERT TRANSIT
2007 New Flyer D40LFR #s 865-877

Coinciding with ETS' large 231 bus order in 2007, St. Albert Transit also took delivery of a relatively large number of buses (13) during that year. This helped facilitate service expansion and the retirement of the majority of the MCI Classics. The 13 New Flyer D40LFR buses, #s 865-877, were speced similar to the 2006 D40LFs, with the obvious exceptions being the restyled front and rear ends, as well as the drivetrains. As per the EPA 2007 diesel emissions standards, these buses featured updated, lower emissions versions of the Cummins ISL. As of 2020, all 13 of these buses are in active service.
