Light Duty

This page will be highlighting ETS's fleet of light duty equipment. This will primarily be cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, minivans, and vans that are used for general purpose uses. They will generally not have any specialized equipment, , or some pretty basic equipment like racks or push bumpers. We have included an extra column to include any specialized use the vehicle is used for. Everything that isn't marked is likely from the maintenance side of things based at the City's Davies Integrated Services Complex (on older vehicles, lettered as "Plant"), or the service development side of things based out of Mitchell and other locations.

M24?? 1991 Chevy 2500 Plant April 21, 2004 I can't tell what the full fleet number is on this one, but, needless to say it was neat to find this thing in 2004 in the "Flying E" livery. Downtown on 102A Ave east of 97 St.

P2578 1992 Plymouth Voyager Safety (although probably not at the time). September 18, 2009 ETS #P2578 at 107 Ave and 124 St. This thing showed up surprisignly frequently for a little while. It is lettered as "Safety" and looks like it could be an ex inspector van. By this point it looks like it was just being used as a pool vehicle until retirement.

R2783 1993 Chevy 2500 January 7, 2011 ETS #R2783 is a bit of an oddball. Paterson often usually seemed to have something old hanging around. This one was quite unusual for a City vehicle as it seems to just be in some sort of factory paint.

Z2368 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan May 18, 2009 ETS #Z2368 in the Library parkade. Possibly an ex Supervisor van? Z2366 and Z2367 were sisters to this unit. At this point in it's life it looks like it might be on standby use by Transit Control which is located nearby in Churchill LRT Station.

B2626 2000 Chevy Express May 21, 2003 ETS #B2626 parked out of the 107 St LRT entrance for Corona Station south of Jasper Ave.

B2643 2000 Chevy Tahoe Westwood Push Truck June 13, 2009 ETS #B2643 inside of Westwood Garage. This is a former inspector vehicle, later used as a push truck while Cromdale was in use, before spending time at Westwood. At some point it lost all of it's decals. That makes me wonder if it was being readied for disposal but then retained. This was likely Westwood Van's backup.

C2733 2001 Ford F-250 Mitchell Push Truck April 7, 2014 ETS #C2733 returning to Mitchell. At some point the truck was shifted to Mitchell from Westwood.

E2888 2003 Ford Econoline E-350 Westwood Van ETS #E2888 pushing #180 from McDonald Drive onto 102 St, heading back to wire at Jasper Ave due to a blockage that affected trolleys.

G2229 2005 Dodge Caravan August 6, 2009 ETS #G2229 at South Campus Transit Centre.

H2320 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Garbage Collection November 22, 2010 ETS #H2320 southbound on 109 St in Downtown. At the time I seem to recall this truck being used for garbage collection from the LRT and/ or transit centres. I haven't seen that done in my years by ETS now. The extended sides to the box also included a tarp that covered the whole thing.

V2119 2014 Toyota Sienna Bus Technology April 4, 2014 ETS #V2119 parked outside of Mitchell Garage a decalled of Bus Technology. No doubt this was in use by personal working on Smart Bus which was being rolled out at the time.
