This page will be highlighting ETS's Inspector fleet. Through the 2000's the fleet was a mix of a variety of different vans and SUV's. The SUV's were equipped with push bumpers and a large part of their reason for being was to push trolleybuses if needed. Today, the number of push vehicles has been reduced, but, there are still a few. The vast majority of the fleet consists of Toyota Sienna minivans, however, a couple of pickup trucks were added following an overall increase in funding to ETS for safety and security concerns. Along with this was the creation of 2 Superintendents positions who would be out on the roads as well. Since about 2008 inspectors vehicles have been identified with a "inspector" decal right on the vehicles. Today, "supervisor" has started to appear new vehicles. Prior to that we just new from observing the vehicles, and, generally they were the only vehicles with light bars. So, while we believe everything is sorted correctly, it's possible we could have gotten some of these wrong.
Below the regular ETS inspectors are DATS inspectors. They are much fewer in number, usually only 2 around given that DATS is a much smaller operation. While not light bar equipped, they do have wheelchair ramps in the rear should that be needed.
