E Track Connection Construction

In Spring 2008, ETS crews built a connecting track from "E Track" to the CN spur that served the Agricore elevator. While ETS had a connection in this general area with CN, when CN lifted their track on this portion of their former line into Downtown, the connection and the crossing with the ETS tracks were removed. With the impending delivery of the SD160 fleet, a new connection had to be built to allow the flatcars Siemens's would be shipping the fleet on to access ETS trackage. The first SD160 arrived on May 9, 2008.
