This page will document the ETS owned (vs. EPCOR owned) equipment used for catenary maintenance.

#2011-2010 Geismar VMB 1608C- This versatile, and high tech, vehicle is used to inspect and maintain the LRT networks catenary. It is diesel powered with a pantograph is used to measure the catenary. In addition to the contact wire measuring equipment, this unit is equipped with a platform lift and crane. AAR couplers are fitted on both ends as well as coupling for other equipment carts. This unit has been used for wire replacement with wire spool car #3863. Despite being decalled as a "Catenary Inspection Vehicle", it's safe to say this is a full on "Catenary Maintenance Vehicle"!

7692 International Cargostar/ Edmonton Truck and Body Platform Line Truck- This truck is most likely an ex Edmonton Power unit used in the original LRT construction. I don't think it makes it out much these days, but, was used to string the SLRT catenary south from Health Science's Station as well as during the NE Power upgrades. The unit is in the current ETS blue/ silver stripes. Despite being ETS owned, I would imagine this rig is often manned by EPCOR crews, for catenary work anyways. Currently, this unit is stored at DLM.

7629 2002 . In this photo, 7692 is helping fix the overhead line after a line pole had to be replaced as the tamper #3857 derailed at this location and damaged the line pole. Helping with this is EPCOR #B3600.
