EDMONTON TRANSIT SYSTEM

In 1966 ETS purchased 10 used CCF/ Brill T-44 trolley coaches built in 1949 from the Regina Transit System. Below is a list of Edmonton numbers and their former Regina numbers. Upon arrival in Edmonton they had work performed on them at the Cromdale Garage and were repainted into the standard ETS paint scheme and placed into service. These buses were retired between 1974 and 1978 with many remaining in service until the last days of the Brill's on Edmonton streets.

Thumbnail Bus # Date Description

Note that this bus has a set of outward opening rear doors as opposed to its original folding rear doors. These doors could possibly be off of one of the ACF/ Brill trolleybuses that these buses retired, however, that is probably doubtfull.
