1950 Twin 44-SP #59

ETS #59 is a unique bus. Part of an order for 6 Twin Coach 44-S model buses, it was converted to propane at the factory and then became a 44-SP model bus. While ETS rostered 44-S and 45-SP model buses, #59 was the only 44-SP. As well, it may have been the only 44-SP ever built. The bus was equipped with a Fageol FTC-180 propane engine. #59 was retired from revenue service in 1975 and then saved as part of the ETS Historic Collection. It was restored into its original paint scheme at some point.
