Edmonton Transit System 1943 Ford #11-13

EDMONTON TRANSIT SYSTEM
1943 Ford 29-B "Victory" #11-13

ETS only ever rostered 6 Ford buses. The first 3 were the shorter versions, the 29-B. All were retired by 1954. These buses were powered by a Ford V-8 100 HP engine.

13 ETS #13 resting seen resting at Cromdale Garage. We suspect this image was taken during either 1946 or 47 judging from Cromdale (pre 1947 expansion) but with ETS decals that were probably introduced in 1946. The bus behind might well be 1945 49-B #16 judging from it's fresh looking paint. 1946 or 47
