1921 Umebachi/Sharyo #247

#247 was built for the Hankai Electric Railway (Osaka) in 1921. Rebuilt in 1947, it operated in regular service until 1990. Originally intended for use as a parts car, the ERRS decided to instead keep it in operational condition. It was the first car to operate on the High Level Bridge streetcar line when it opened in 1997. Currently in storage for minor restoration, #247 is scheduled to return to the High Level Bridge line in 2017.
