Calgary Transit tested the Regio Sprinter along the planned corridor for the south LRT extension for a few month. The car ran on CP track from Anderson Station, south. The Regio Sprinter is a diesel multiple unit (DMU) railcar built by Siemen's. It is pretty much a diesel powered LRV. The Calgary stop was just one of many this car was on a Canada/ US nation wide tour.
