Calgary Transit 2010 Nova Bus LFS #8101-8130

After ordering solely from New Flyer over 15+ years, Calgary Transit decided to try Nova Bus for 40' fleet replacement in 2010. Interestingly enough, 16 units that were meant to be part of this order were rejected by Calgary Transit due to Nova installing the wrong engines in them (EPA 2007 versions instead of the updated EPA 2010 units that were requested). Calgary Transit received new units in place of the rejects, while the majority of the rejects eventually ended up with Regina Transit.
