Airdrie Transit  

The City of Airdrie is located immediately North of Calgary along Alberta Highway 2. While Airdrie Transit has existed in some form or another since 1980, the current version of the system began in 2010. The buses for the Airdrie-Calgary commuter service (ICE - Intercity Commuter Express) are owned and operated by the City of Airdrie while the local service is contracted out to Pacific Western. In addition to a handful of cutaways, the fleet currently consists of 10 full sized buses: 3 New Flyer D40LFR's (#'s 3700-3702), 2 New Flyer XD60's (#'s 3715-3716), and 5 Nova Bus LFS' (#'s 3711, 3712, 3723, 3725, and 3726).
